Black Copper Marans... 1 Roo and 1 Pullet?

I guess my month olds may be all roos! some have rust around neck area does that indicate anything? Mine all have combs and some wattles coming. Two feathered out quicker than the other four and are smaller might they be females?

The rust around their necks is the copper coloring coming in

I've been told that some marans pullets develop combs and wattles early as well, so I'm hoping that some of the 5 I think are boys are not

Hard to tell as welsummers and speckled sussex look a lot alike. And a view from the top makes it more difficult.

Speckled sussex will feather in with white on the chest, and female welsummers will feather in salmon on the chest. (males will be more black in the chest) Welsummers also have eyeliner, where I think speckled sussex have more of a smudge by the eyes.
