Black Copper Marans acceptance to the APA in 2 Weeks....info

They are actually feather footer, its just hard to see in the pictures.
The standard calls for "lightly feathered" not like most of the other breeds with heavy feathering. As long as there are "stubs" present, that is ok.

You would think they would use photos that show better feathering, wouldn't you?

Yep - I'm a member as well. There are many folks in that Club who have done SO very much! Dick Dickerson is a GEM of a person, and works so darn hard, along with so many others. I feel honored to be a part of the acceptance process!
 
They are just supposed to have feathering on the outside of the shank and the outer toe, like these.
