Went to the NY Fair again today, I am exhausted. Been up since 5am!

Took grandkids, 1 & 3 years old. 3 year old liked animals, rides, etc. 1 year old was good, stayed in stroller all the time....

id love to be a marans person in NY i love the breed but getting a carpenter job there might be hard , finaly things are picking up here in alexandria virginia.i almost had to move if i couldnbt find work to my place in west virginia to save money , and thats were my marans are buts there even less work there

I think the Gov. of NY wants the state to sink...starting today, car registrations & drivers licenses renewels go up $10!

Now, who would you think are being punished by this supposedly "tax for everyone"?

Well, not New YOrk city dwellers, how many of them have cars?

No, its those of us in the rest of the state that depend on cars to get around....as usual, we're supporting the city!! With no extra benefits from the state to offset all our money flowing down the Hudson to NY!

Yes, many people have worked hard for this....I'm takin 9 black coppers to the National next week....driving 13 hours in a Prius! I just hope I can still walk when we arrive, or even get out of the car! LOL

The Marans Club of France has a site in English. Just google "Marans chickens" & it will come up. Lots of pictures there.
