Ok I do have very thick skin ,I know one thing that is wrong is that my cockerel has almost no leg feathering but he's a sweet bird , and all I have towel with so... Thank you for future reference to send private messages about that sorta thing

My 18 week old black copper Marans had a tail when she was 2 weeks old , all the feathers came out and have not grown back since what's wrong this is not just a molt is it? It's been do long I don't think it is but correct me if I'm wrong

Don, This is the only Blue Copper that is darker with copper. They are about 7 weeks now! I know they are way to young to tell much but what do you think so far?

From what we can see at this age the type looks pretty good and you should get some color real quick. Will post some pictures of my 10 week olds later today.

These are 10-12 weeks old as you can see most will be culled. Males into the freezer and the females into layer flocks. We have another 150 from a different mating waiting to go into a growout lot.
