Some lines of Marans seem to feather in slower than others. Sometimes females will feather in faster too especially in the wings and tail areas.
I would keep an eye on your chick and make sure she is eating, drinking, and pooping okay. If she isn't acting ill and doing okay otherwise, she may just be smaller. I have a few that are really small. Both females. One blue Marans hen I have is really little for her age she is spunky and healthy, just small. The roos really like her for some reason lol.
