What line/s are these from? I have seen those big ol' combs somewhere before. I like the smllest guy myself but once again the tail angle issue. Maybe I am just attracted to it?? I also tend to like the smaller versions. Maybe thats why I am occasionally getting almost bantam sized now. Do you have his mama?

I have the mammas and daddy. . . . I don't know which mamma these came from. . .. The eggs were marked when they went into the incubator, but the follow thru on the way out of the incubator was not very good!

The mammas are a presley / Davis mix and the daddy is pure davis.

I say #3.

I like his color, it's balanced and he has a nice coppery hue to him, no yellowy straw colors from what I see. His comb looks good, as well as his tail angle.

He doesn't look scrawny either, so if it were my choice is would go with him!

Yep, you always think you can keep track until you peek in and see a whole pile of chicks and empty eggs!! Lucky for me my bator is huge, For my project pens I started putting individual eggs in small bowls on day 18 so I can keep track when they hatch then I band them before tossing them all together. I am going to start using a toe punch, I just got one and last nights hatch will be my first victims....

I'm now torn between #2 and #3. Can you get a better side pic of #3? The one really good pic of him from the side, he's stepping out and his head is lower than it would normally be in a standing pose. I AT ALL POSSIBLE - if you could get a pic of #2 & #3 side by side, that would be PRIMO.

Lisa,

I really like the PYB boy (#3). If I wasn't comparing him to the others my first thought is what a nice cockerel.

Do you have a profile photo of him standing? Movement shots on dogs show a lot but moving shots on chickens just dont seem to work LOL.

They are all nice boys but I'm really drawn to #3. #2 is much more bodied out but I think #3 will get there too.
