Black Cornish X

Hello Ya'll
newB here, not sure but I've been rasin' chichkens for da last year or so - seem's I was a child which has been a long -long time .....I have been raise -n- breed a few meat and layers since the time I started which has been a little more then a year now , my latest is Lt Brahams male with X-Rock cornish hen ......6 chicks just hatch 4 days ago all doing good ......will post pic's soon ................Hopefully I still get some big birds and good layers with this combo...........

didn't know that they where black and reds along with the white X-rocks meat birds

Ok I knowest that the baby chick's seem to have feathered feet like the Lt Bramham Roo , very much bigger then the rest -The RI.R /X -ROCKS have no feather feet but are big and red .

they are with a few hatchings of RI .R / and cross of Bk Jer. Gaints / B. O chicks from my other pen of egglayers whih are a lot smaller then the home grow X-rock crosses

hopefully I get some big birds with this cross of X-rock conish hens / LT. Bramham roo -n- RI. Reds Roo

Not sure what I get but love to toy around with things ........LOL ......

Silkies are near-unique among chickens: both skin and bones are black.
Black skin is found in only silkies and some rare breeds - the Indonesian Ayam Cemani, the South American Black Quechua Olmec, and the Swedish Svart Höna.
The Black Sumatra and Rapanui breeds sometimes have black skin also.

Well he could not find the black chicks in the grower houses so I now have 3 new Cornish X chicks that are white
