Black crusty spot on crest- Should i be worried?

Hello all,

I noticed a black scab-like crust on my sussex' crest about a month ago. It doesn't seem painful, but it hasn't changed. Her behavior is normal.

Should I be worried? Photos are the best I could do with only two arms. Shes a heavy wiggleworm.....
