Black feather, white edges, what am I?

I have three of these BIG feather footed chicks. I assumed they were a laced cochin or brahma, until I noticed the lacing is opposite from what I would have expecting. Any thoughts?

Actually I just found a picture of a dark brahma hen that looks like this one could morphe into?

I am thinking dark brahma.
It has been a long time since mine were babies but I remember them looking strange in patterning.

The do grow into very pretty birds.

I was convinced my light Brahmas were dark until they were almost six weeks old.

But mine came from a feed store/hatchery... and we all know those birds can be really off in their coloring... so that might not be a good example
