Black jack coats

Hi all. Applying black jack to coop floor. It's pretty thick stuff. Wondering how many coats should be applied. TIA!

Two even coats. Make sure you really stir it well (I gave hubby a fence board and 15 minutes to stir). Expect the first coat to look uneven, that's normal. The second coat should give you that even, solid black finish.
