Black on duck foot

is this fungus. once i bathed duck i found this under the mud on feet

My guess would be bumblefoot

No, not fungus. It's bumblefoot. Usually happens because they get a small cut that scabs over but it will still have a spot of infection inside the foot so it doesn't heal on its own.

i cut the black off after soaking but may have to watch some videos to see about getting the core out
