Black or blue? Can't tell...

I'm going with Dark Blue from those pics. It takes going out into the sunlight sometimes to see-I've had a couple of those myself from Suede and his ladies.

He looks more like he's black, but i've never had cochins before so I don't know for sure.

I'd been leaning toward dark blue, and today I took him out into the bright sunshine, and he's definitely dark, dark blue. There is no green sheen to his feathers, and he's beautiful out in the daylight! Turns out all 10 of my babies are blue. What are the odds of that????

Well, at my house the odds are about 1:1, but I had a blue splash roo, so that pretty much guaranteed blues! Congrats!!
