Black Orpington/lavender project chicks and eggs - Reading, PA

I currently have 5 chicks (8/21) from my lavender project hatchings. These chicks are bred from birds carrying the lavender gene. They are straight run. $3 each. Local pick up only. I will drive to meet you if need be. I will have chicks every month for the rest of the summer/fall.

Also, I have too many eggs to hatch. I have a couple extra dozen a week starting this week. 12+ eggs for $40 (includes shipping). These eggs are showing 100% fertility for me - although I can't guaruntee fertility or hatch rate on eggs shipped or otherwise.

These are from my Lavender project pen. Lavender rooster on 3 black "carrier" hens, 1 lavender hen and 2 black "non-carrying" hens.

I will put up more recent photos of all the birds together. The Black roo in the last photo has been off the three girls for about one month. He is a lavender carrier as well, but the lavender roo is showing better feathering.

Are the chicks lavenders or blacks? and how far are you from Maryland?
