Black poop

One or more of my chickens are have black feces. They are acting normal except that there poop is jet black.
Is this a problem?????

There is no real problem just as long its solid and has some white. That usally happens when you change feed or they free range

They do free range, but it has no white on it.

Are they drinking enough clean water the white stuff is water or in other words solid urine

I haven't seen any black poop lately so I'm hoping it was just a couple times deal.
I am actually hoping to change there water today because it is looking dirty.

I just noticed today one of my hens also had black poop. watery and black, then another had basically clear....just water come out.
I clicked on that link and it was a thread for scaly leg mites? I didn't see a "poop chart"

Free range? is it blackberry season where you are too? Ours are eating tons and have black poop.
