Black rooster getting white feathers

Recently my polish rooster has gained alot of white feathers, I keep discovering new ones each day.
He's almost a year old
Could he be a mixed breed or is it normal for the breed?

He's probably a mottled. Where did you get him? He looks more like a crevecoeur.

I got him from a friend, who got him with a bunch of other polish chicken
I don't think we have crevecoeur in Norway? Never heard of them atleast.

Well polish come in mottled too.
