Black sex link question

Just hatched a bunch of eggs they were suppose to be ee's and black sex links. when the eggs hatched the ee's were true to breed but the black ones all have a white spot on the crown of their head. from the size of the end of an ink pin to the size of a dime. don't look like a sex-link to me but who knows. no camera to post a pick with but five out of eight are pullets.

Black sex links, where the rooster used is a Red/Gold and the hen a Barred Rock, when hatched, the pullets have no head spot, but the cockerels do.

Breeding sex links again, produces nothing sexable. Just nice mutts.

thats what I was afraid of when they hatched vent checked them and only saw three but then again I didnt take much time either. glad we eat alot of chicken . Thanks for the reply this is the first time I've hatched sex-links good looking birds though size wise.

If it were me, I'd not be concerned. Sure, they may be cockerels, but maybe not, as who knows what the parents stock was? Hatching eggs is a crap shoot, all the way around. Kind of a Forest Gump thing, as you never know what you're gonna get.
