I have a black satin frizzle silkie who is a DNA confirmed pullet by iQ bird testing. She is about 7-8 weeks old and has started developing leakage. I thought only cockerels/ roosters developed leakage. Both parents are black. Please help! Pictures attached

Pullets can have leakage it’s not as common but does happen. I have a satin that has a few feathers that have gold. In the picture you can see it in her hackles. I was surprised to see the gold feathers when she was feathering out because her father was a silver birchin.

Se could be Brown re instead, both parents can hide ER, E/ER birds can look completely Black.

I wonder what other traits the iQ DNA test can find on a Bird and how much is the test

Thank you so much for your reply! I have personally never seen leakage on a pullet, so I was thinking my DNA results were wrong 😂
