Black Silkie roo and the chicks he fathered with Salmon Faverolle and Austra White hens...

Good eye. It's the only one I saw that looks like it could be a cockerel. You should know within a few weeks.
That one and the one in the middle of the other two in that picture are the Salmon Faverolle crosses. It's hard to tell in the picture but s/he has some brown in its feathering. The solid black and solid gray ones are Austra White crosses. I think they're all gorgeous birds.
 
Thought I'd update on these chicks now that they're grown up and laying eggs. Both of the Salmon Faverolle mixes are currently broody but neither of the Austra White mixes have been... yet. Only the gray one has a comb like her Silkie father. If anyone is interested I'll take and post some new pictures of them.
