Black Silkies 17 weeks old

None of these silkies have crowed or even attempted to crow. They all hang close to one another. Thay arer very friendly especially at night when I put them to bed. Any idea if they are male or female? They all have blue earlobes, and very tiny reddish black wattles.

Purple are there really people in the world with out chickens in the house ?? Isn't that weird or illegal or something in most states ? I think the FBI started a "Wanted List" for people without silkies ...

In answer to the question Yes I do have a chicken in my house.

My coop is 10x12 x 9' high ceiling and it is home to 3 silkies, and 2 Cochin's 1 is a hen with 2 day old chicks, the other a Pullet 6 1/2 months old laying eggs daily.

In the house is a 7 month old Rooster we named Henry. I got him from my Aunt. He was under nourished, had no wattles, a pea sized comb and was near death. His siblings were out to kill him so I brought him home. I have had him for 1 month and he has tripled in size, does a full crow, has hugh wattles and a hugh comb.

The problem is he is terrified of the other chickens and actually screams if they come near him and he jumps either in my arms or my husbands.

We figured the best place for him was in the house. We do not care if there are laws against having chickens in the house. We saved him and that is the bottom line.

I was only only kidding -- no need for a bottom line i usually have two or three in the house - My Serama dude has permanent residency --

and really i think with hunting for international Terrioists and all the FBI is a little too busy for a Most wanted list over not owning silkies
