Black spot on Roo’s waddle

He acts fine. I notice a small black dot about two weeks ago. I figured he approached a lady that wasn’t interested. Now it’s a black line. It’s only on one side.

Can you hold him and have someone take clearer photos?
Is his wattle straight at the bottom?

Probably minor cut/injury. If it's not bothering him, then I would just observe him.

I’m going to have to wait until evening. He doesn’t like to be held. However, we saw this on one of the ladies.

You sure it's not dirt?

I recently had to clean my cockerel head cause he black dirt on his face, wattle, and comb. Used a wet wash cloth it came right off.

Since the black marks are on the lower area, it could be cut with dried blood or caked on dirt.
