black spot on roosters comb

HI,
I have looked and looked through old posts....unsuccessfuly.....
Would appreciate some feed back.
My barred rock rooster..7 months old, had a black spot on his comb . It seems that I have read something about this so have been watching it closely. It had become larger and looks rather crusty. I wish I could post a picture
but have not figured the process out yet.
Does he have a problem? disease?

do u have any other roosters?? ours often rough each other up and get black spots or scabs on their combs.

You're probably thinking of fowl pox so do a search on that and see if the pictures look like your boy. The other thing it could be (and probably more likely) is the results of having his comb pecked at by they hens or another rooster if you have one.
