Black spot

Hello, any ideas on what this black spot may be on this buff orpington? I have another bird with a smaller black spot as well.

It's a scab, they're likely sticking their beaks out their coop screen.

X2, it is from hurting their beak on something sharp or metal screen, such as what is in the background of the picture.
