OK I've looked everywhere i found one post on here. Two of my eggs have these black spots inside them. I candled last night and they are definitely moving inside. I want to know why it's there if Soemthing I did I can correct it for next time. I did lightly wipe eggs they were pretty dirty. It's moving so I'm confused I found one picture online that shows something similar and it would be late death but it's not dead or yet anyway. I'm on day 23. Hope someone know, thanks!!

Ive had a spot like that but I’m not totally sure I figured it out either. Either the embryonic waste or an enlarged blood vessel is all I could come up with.
Did it hatch? I did wipe them clean just with water and not my faucet water because we have a ton of salt in water. I didn't want to clean them. But they were pretty bad with poop so just did the spots where poop was.

I know it at least made it until hatching. I can’t remember if it lived or not. But quite a few of mine pipped on the wrong end and died. Which had nothing to do with that spot. So I’d say it could definitely hatch just fine.

OK I wish there was answer out there for this. That would really Stink to have them. Pip at wrong end. I guess we all will go through. Did you wash yours that had the black spots? Only thing I did differently. Humidity was all messed up but I doubt that was it and I have my air cells much better wvduvkchivk said get the water out Helped tons!! They were very behind.

I think I lightly rinsed all of mine to get the mud off. So I don’t think you hurt anything.
