Black spots in egg?

Whoa! That’s so neat. You can look inside the shell once it hatches. If it was a vein you should be able to tell.

Oh that's a good idea I will. I do have question in this picture different egg it'd alive but look at the bottom it broke shell not in he air cell. Will it hatch OK.. It's not in he air cell and two cracks.

Oh I did not sure what happened sorry. It's on the bottom. Not at the air cell.

The pip looks like its in the right place to me. The fat end of the egg, it looks just fine. You should have a chick by tomorrow! Congratulations!! I have no idea what the black spots were in your candled pics. but it would be interesting to see if they show up in the egg after hatch. Please post pics.

I just dont think the air cell went that far. All. Other eggs popper upper right corner.
I will definitely look to see if I can find out what those black cups are and I'll post if I find out.

During hatch, the air cell gets pulled down quite significantly. It can be quite a ways below where you last saw it, no need to worry!

This one should be fine. Is it still moving around? I think the main thing to worry about is if it hit a blood vessel when pipping since it is low. Mine that pipped there didn’t make it. But I didn’t know what I was doing really. @Pyxis ?

I don't see blood from what I can see. I see yellow which would be normal. Doesn't appear to be blocked amd I hear it chirping. I have not pulled it out to look. I have 13 others externally pipped and afraid to open the incubator lol

If you don’t see any bruising it should be fine. I bet you are getting excited!!

OK yes so excited I just hat he'd Anconas. This is definitely the most exciting thing in my life. I love it!!
