You are doing great!! I mean it.

If you peel the lower piece of membrane, its along the back of the spine, so its easier to pull away from left to right, with the feathers instead of against them. But its looking real good now. Squirming is good, it will really start squirming when its time to pop out. You may have to press down gently on the bill so its head can pop out, then it will kick out of the bottom of the shell on its own.

Nah, those bleeders don't look like big ones to me. But it looks like you have it open enough now, so I'd just leave it there and wait. When its ready, it will jump right out of there. Hang in there!

Is this the foot stuck to membrane should I try pulling it apart? Kind of looks stuck. Hard to see but to the left looks like other foot is stuck to the membrane
