One of my Buff Orpingtons leaped on my arm while I was sitting in the coop. I noticed black spots on her comb and got pictures.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

They look like peck marks to me. Nothing to worry about usuallyDoes she get into scuffles sometimes or is she kept in line by a higher hen in the pecking order? Even my second in line sports peck marks once in a while.
How the pecking order works in our flock, not sure about others, is the "boss" is the last one in at night and the first one out in the morning. She doesn't really interact with the others unless she feels fit to intervene in a squabble then she approaches closely and "breaks it up" so to speak in her silent way. She goes her own way in the yard while foraging and the others follow. If she gets alarmed by a crow or some noise, she does the purr alarm and they all stand at attention.I’m pretty sure she’s second to my Austra white. However, figuring out the pecking order is very difficult for me. I have no idea where to start.
Thank you very much, I just wanted to make sure it was nothing serious.
