Black Spots on Comb + Wattle

Me again. This is our pretty girl Rose. She's one of our hens currently laying, and she has an insanely big comb and wattle for a hen lol. At least our hens!

Today though, I noticed some black spots on it. Is this normal? I've never noticed it on anyone else. She's a fairly submissive chicken, and I've heard it can be caused due to pecking from other hens? She has no apparent symptoms other than the black spots.

Looks like little blood spots from getting pecked. My roosters get these a lot when there’s a scuffle. Someone’s probably just being feisty and pecking her comb.

Okay that's great to know! She doesn't seem to get picked on, just definitely is more submissive, so that makes sense
