Black spots on the hens comb is this frost bite or fowl pox

Looks like frost bite to me but I can't be too sure, I've never had to deal with fowl pox.

That is frostbite. No treatment is necessary, as this can happen when there is a buildd up of humidity during freezing temperstures. The damaged points will usually become rounded off in a few weeks.

Thank you.. I really happy that it is not fowl pox. I'm trying to keep them warmer.

Most chickens can tolerate some really cold temps, but if the coop is small and they roost up high, and humidity builds up, they can get frostbite quickly. Make sure there is overhead ventilation from one end to the other.
