Can someone tell me about the difference between Black Star and Black Beauties?? Or, are they the same breed? Black Beauties don’t seem to have much “press” that I can find and I’d like to learn more about them.

Doing a google search with these terms turned up a good deal more and a good deal less than what I’d hoped for . . .

Thank you,
Steve

Yep, it's just their brand of black sexlink.
Found this description for you on a site:

« "Black Beauty..."
...is the nickname of the Black Sex-Link. Only the hens of this hybrid Rhode Island Red / Barred Rock species are black. They are excellent layers.

Look for the shiny black feathers (some have a reddish tint to them) to spot the Black Beauties.

Comes from Chestnut Bay Farm

Yep, just like that, a "trade name" sort of thing, although there are a few different ways to make some of the sexlinks. Still, the Black Beauty is the one of the most popular types of hybrid layer under a different name.
