Black Stars vs. Red Stars

I have 6 sex links...3 look to be Golden, the others are red or brown; DH bought them at TSC who said they were RIR but I could tell from the beginning they were not. All 6 are overbearing with the other 16 pullets who are 2 and 3 weeks younger than them.

Dolly is the alpha for sure...she is OCD about any other breed using the nesting boxes. She will pull others out by their heads. She is so busy playing the Jello Sheriff that she doesn't lay!

Lucille is just plain mean...she will grab a hold of a hen near her and not let go...she pulls feathers out every day.

I'm thinking that we need to build another run/coop for the other 16 and just add more Red Sex links to the 6 in the current run/coop. I know the other 16 pullets would be relieved to be out of their reach! They are laying fools and so attentive to me and DH since they 'matured' but horrid to the other pullets.

I have 3 Red-sex-links (red star?) and 2 black'sex-link (black star?). They were all born on april.6 and still no egg..

so no comment on eggs...
The RSL are much sweeter then the BSL. The RSL like to be held and are calm and friendly. I love them! The BSL are more mean/bossy (toward other chickens) and do not like to be held and always try to avoid me...
I would deffinitly take RSL's over BSL's!
