Black Swedish?

With the markings being dominant in most crosses, I would say mixes because of the red/brown coloring. Swedish are Blue or Black, which is not going to offer any "red" coloring.

When I hatched some eggs from a Black Swedish hen I had, bred to a Saxony drake, they were 100% blue Swedish. Poorly marked with multi color feet, but BLUE as blue could be with white bibs. I sold them as crosses... not going to call them what they aren't, even if they would pass for Swedish.

I'd like to know where that red tinting came from. It's a neat color, perfect for pond adornment. And they all match! Bonus!

I think they are mixed with Rouen. The lady i got them from said she has rouens, so they are probably mixed with that. Everyday that ive had her she has laid an egg

The ducklings turned out to be 3 boys and 2 girls.

This is a picture of 2 boys and one female..

Aww, these are cuties! I love my poorly marked sweedish! Great markings don't matter when it comes down to love. I'm sure these little guys will be awesome.
