BLACK THING ON ROOSTER’S COMB!!!

I noticed 3 days ago that he had something black on his comb. I thought is was mud or something but it hasn’t come off yet. I’m a little worried.

It's just a scab.
probably from being pecked or another minor injury.

I'd agree, scab or frostbite. Plenty of mine have some small scars, your rooster is probably fine.

The tips of the comb and toward the rear look a lot like some large combed birds when they get excited or slightly cold. That doesn’t look like frostbite. The scab is from a peck or an injury.

As long as you have adequate ventilation in your coop you should be fine. How much ventilation do you have in your coop with how many birds?
