Black, wart-looking spots/sores coming up on my little lady's beak, comb, and waddle...???

I'm not sure what this could be, what to do for her..or even what could be causing it for that matter! Shes one of my four laying ladies, (6months old) and the only one so far with these sores. .. any thoughts or advice out there??
Has anyone come up with a GUESS what the spots are? I suddenly have one laying girl who has a spot on her addle also.

And as your 's was she's one of my best laying hens.

I checked my girl this morning and it seems like it's gotten a little larger. It also feels like it's got a scab texture. But there is an obvious pimple like button directly under it. I'm going to rub a pet balm over it and see what happens. Could it be some sort of insect bite, or an insect layed it's larve in her waddle. ??

KWS, if I were you I would try to get another picture in focus (you might need to back up just a bit,) then I would start my own thread at the top left gray box. This would get more looks, since people don't always look at these old threads. You may be dealing with dry fowl pox or just some peck wounds. Peck wounds are usually very black, and fowl pox is usually tan or brown with a darker scab in the middle. Here is a picture: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/690442/is-this-fowl-pox

I really hope you figure out what it is KWS.. It was driving me nuts not knowing! I know my hen's wart things were very dark/black. None of my others ended up with it though. Good luck! :)

There's another thread about Fowl Pox,

I'm wondering if it could be the start of Fowl Pox ?? I've been reading alot of the post, and the mesquitos were bad this year. I have Ducks and geese also so the yard stays a litte damp. Can Fowl pox be transfered to my geese and ducks?
