Hello again, I am now posting a photo of my rooster, Rudy, who has a partially blackened comb. Any ideas? We live in Florida's Panhandle and his comb was this way before the frost arrived last night. He eats well, drinks well, doesn't appear ill, but still has that blackened comb. Thanks for all the help!
Is that a white spot that I see on his left wattle? He may have Favus a fungal infection that affects combs and wattles. Some people have had luck treating such infections with Monistat.
