I just got a new peacock
a blackshoulder but my 9 months old male didn't like it ;(

Looks like you have 2 boys there, since they were not raised together that could pose a problem, although 9 months is pretty young for major fighting over territory. If you are planning to free range both these guys you may want to get some hens or they may leave in search of mates.I have the new peacock in the cage until he get use to the area but I'm afraid that when I let him out of the cage my 9 month will start fighting with him ;(;(
Mom her 2 nine months old hens and the boy ...which is nine months too and I just got the blackshoulder male today he is 3 years old ..
So I'm thinking about let him loose here before dark I don't know if that will be a good idea ? And my peacoks are free all the time I have never penned them ..I dont know if the 3 years old will hurt my 9 months old or scare him off ;(?!
