Bladder Estrophy Anyone heard of it?

Hello I am Casey and I have a daughter born with Bladder Exstrophy. Her Bladder was on the outside of her body when she was born. It is a rare birth defect that happens about one in every 50 thousand births and what Im told seems to happen more in boys then girls! My daughter just turned 13 yesterday and is doing pretty well! We are looking to meet kids Just like herself! If you don't want to meet and just say hello its fine! Hoping to get a response here!

Not quite, but my oldest son was born with his intestines on the outside of his abdomen. Gastroskesis. He is 31 now. The most helpful thing that happened to me during this trying time was a mother who brought her grown son to the hospital to visit with Cody and I. My son has no problems now, a normal guy. I think you are a great Mom for trying to set this up. You are on the right track.
