Spyder stuck his head into the mass of intangled roots." Come out little one. Or the snakes that live in here will make you get out."

Galaxy jumped with surprise when he mentioned snakes," oh no, I hate snakes" she screamed in her mind. She had no choice but to come out, she did not trust these dragons at all, but she couldn't find another way out. She slowly peeked her head into a bit of light, still deep in the roots," I don't... Want to..." She said in a cracked dry voice that sounded hungry, thirsty, scared and alone.

Finally Fulgur was able to see her face. "Why don't you come back to camp with us." He said in more of a commanding way than question. I hope Onyx and Scarlet would be okay with this...

Galaxy looked around, she didn't like that idea much, the plan had been to find a new wing with her father. " I...I.." she muttered, feeling overwhelmed

Spyder watched her, she seemed unsteady and...isolated. " my name is spyder, this is fulgur" he said nudging fulgur," our queen is scarlet and our king is oynx. If you come with us you need to respect them at all times, where did you come from?" Spyder asked calmly


Galaxy looked up at spyder, who was much larger then her obviously," I don't know where I'm from, all I remember is desert, and an ink black cave I was hatched in"

"Thank you," Shimmer said. She watched Fulgur and Spyder head off into the woods. She could barely control the urge to follow them, since she loved a good adventure. But she couldn't, she had a job to do, and that was training Axel and Bella. "Can we please get back to training now?" Axel said impatiently. "Axel!" Shimmer turned around quickly, a serious look on her face. "You must learn to respect the betas." "Seriously Shimmer, he has eight eyes!" Axel retorted. Shimmer bared her teeth at him. "All dragons are different. You don't seem to mind that I'm cursed, do you? So why does it matter how many eyes a dragon has? Spyder is a beta, respect him. If you keep up that tone of yours, fledgling, I will postpone your flight training, and Bella will learn to fly long before you." Axel's eyes widened. "Ok! Ok! I won't say things like that! Just please don't postpone my flight training!" he whimpered. "I won't, as long as you keep that disrespectful attitude of yours under control," Shimmer replied sternly. "Loyalty to the Betas and Alphas is very important." After that, Shimmer continued training Axel and Bella. When they finished, Shimmer let the fledglings go play by the stream, and she started chatting about the day's events with Angel.
 
Bella, somehow STILL having energy after a full day of training, flicked her tail at Axel. "C'mon!! Let's go exploring!" She bounded into the woods. and ran smack into Galaxy, who was returning to camp with Fulger and Spyder.
