So my sweet Easter Egger somehow got injured with in the last few hours and the other chicks are mercilessly pecking at her wound... I have separated her but she is frantic and miserable. Any advice? Should I put neosporin on it?

I would treat that with BluKote from the feed store to turn it blue, then try her back in with her flock. They are pecking at the red color. If they don't sell BluKote, get Wound Coat.

Thank you for posting this! I'm having the same problem with one of my chicks in the exact same spot!!

Well the goodness is that I separated her for a few hours and after and then put her in the brooder once the sun was down and they were all asleep. When I came in in the morning she was fine! Wound had scabbed and blended in with her rusty colored feathers. Good luck!
