One of my sweet Easter Eggers has a red/bleeding vent. I took her out of the coop, cleaned her vent, and sprayed Vetericyn on it. I currently have her separate from all other chickens. It’s been red for a week or so, most recently began to look worse. Looks red/scabbed around her vent. Nothing appears to be protruding as of now. Her eggs have a slight amount of dried blood. What could be causing this? Anything else I should do?

It actually looks as if she is healing. It looks like feather pecking/plucking by flock mates that was escalating - next step cannibalism. Is she the only bird with feathers plucked from her lower abdomen and vent?

Thanks for the response. I have a couple others missing feathers in the same spot, but with no redness/bleeding. 😕
