I have a polish chick that's trying to hatch but it keeps bleeding when ever it starts to move and push on the shell I stopped the bleeding once but it starts again and it looks like a lot of blood for a baby because it will drip down the side what should I do any help would be great thanks

Wrap it gently with a paper towel.... but a chick that is hatching alone won't have a bleeding problem....mmaybe some kind of intervention caused this.... or he's on a hurry to hatxh before the veins dry out ... try to leave him alone to do all his work alone and DON'T open the incubator.....

I have had that happen before. Usually it means the chick is premature when coming out and the blood cells have broken and the yolk has not been absorbed. It can also be that the rigid edge of the shell cut the chick. There is really not much you can do but pray.

she hatched out alright I think it was because the others started hatching and were dry already
