Bleeding wing! Help

I let jack and diane swim in the bathtub and when we took them out of the bath I noticed dianes wing was bleeding. Not dripping, but theres enough blood to catch my eye, I'll try to upload a picture or video. Shes still flapping her wings so I dont think it's broken, and the vet wont be in until tomorrow, but idk what to do for her right now. Any suggestions for poor diane ????

I think if you look close enough youll find a broken blood feather or pin feather

Have you dealth with bleeding blood feathers?

i never have but i know some members say if it stops bleeding your good, if its bleeding blot it with cornstarch, and if its bleeding alot to pull the feather

I have not. If it is still bleeding blood stop or flour or corn starch is suppose to help stop the bleeding.

Just pull out the broken feather. You may need to use hemostats to grab it. Then just press a paper towel against it for a minute.

I am not equipped for this lol it stopped bleeding, is it fine to leave for tomorrow afternoon when we can see the vet?

If you feel more comfortable letting the vet handle this them by all means. As long as the bleeding has stopped she will be okay.
