First off, I'm not sure what or who caused the bleeding but I'm calm now because the bleeding has stopped. I have a strong feeling that the bleeding was caused by the male coturnix quail, as where ever my other female is in (her names Caramel), he always comes and pecks at her, pull her neck feathers and so on.
Not as a 'wanting to mate' sort of way, but more territorial aggression. He already had chosen his mate with my other female.
For now I've put a cage in their cage, so she stays in the small cage inside their big enclosure, though the male still threatens her and tries to poke his head in to annoy her.
Here are some photo's I took of the injury (I discovered it this morning and the blood was still 'fresh', though most of it got soaked on her feathers);
[There's a tad more to the wound, but it was hard holding up the feathers and taking a photo at the same time - feathers kept falling back in place as I held them. xD)
◄ The blood is on her wing, but most of the time is covered by her chest feathers (don't know what they're called.)
◄ Close up, all the blood soaked on the feathers...
I'm not sure where the main source of blood is coming from, as I don't want to lift her wing up to check. It doesn't seem to bother her though, as she sometimes 'fluffs' up and does other 'quail-y' things.
I've googled some this up, but can someone explain to me;
Is this what is happening?

And can someone explain how to help her?
Do you think nature will take it's course and heal itself?
Please... she's my tamest quail....
