Hey guys,

I need some advice on a baby chick, it hatched the same time as all the rest. But wasn’t moving much so brought it inside and out in incubator just to warm it up a bit.
When I put it back outside with mum it was doing fine. But I came home from work and it was face down in a small puddle of water barely alive. Gasping basically to breathe. I dried it off and then realised it may be blind. It want eat from a dish only from finger m. I have been giving it my babies mashed up verges with some chick stater mashed in.

And it is still tiny?
There are some photos I added. This is the size difference
many advise?

What is their normal diet?
Hey yeah they both eat the same I’m guessing the bigger one gets more cause it can eat whenever it wants too, as I’m feeding the little one. I only brought another chick in so the little one isn’t alone.

I have been feeding them the same as I do any chicks

Which is what? Chick starter?

They don't need veggies. Stick to straight chick starter so they fill up on what they need to grow. Treats shouldn't be given until they are older, if at all. They really don't need them.
It want eat the chick starter on its own, I’ve tried everything tapping the food dish etc. can I mix it with water and make it mushy?

Yes, sometimes they really like wet mash. I would do that and not offer the veggies. If he doesn't like the feed, and is only eating the veg, he's not getting nearly enough protien to grow.
