I noticed today one of my keets is blind in one eye. It looks forward instead of to the side and it seems to be more pushed into the socket that other side. Maybe a birthdefect or a injury at a early age. But no scarring and no cloudyness a tall. That leads me to believe it was born like that.
we did a little test to see if it can see at all but nope.. blind as a bat.
but its not bothering it ,so it seems.

And one other one has one toenail missing.. Its a nub and no toenail at all.Looks like there never has been one from the beginning .

I think I am going to put a handicap plackard on their coop.

I had one blind in one eye . Be careful, the others will pick at it. Kind of sad, but it always seemed to be an outcast.
