Hmmm looks very familiar...

The chickens actually ventured out today. It is bitterly cold out but no wind. My little seramaX d'uccle hen walked right into the water bowl. ARGGGG! I grabbed her and brought her in to dry out her feet and foot feathers. The wind chill is low enough I was afraid she would loose a toe or two.

I just opened up the coop but no one is coming out LOL. One of my EE hens peered outside and then decided it wasn't worth it. I had to give them the option though! They need to be cleaned and I'd prefer it if they could get out today.

But cause we all love photos.. My little rescue mare is hanging out weathering the storm in her cozy blankey.

Lol, My poor big mare walking through the snow to get some hay.. She looks miserable but she's not as miserable as she looks.

So much snow! And it's so windy!

We're expecting flurries all night and tomorrow.
