Block swap 2017

My blocks came today!!
The blocks are beautiful, thank you ladies, can't wait to get them made into a quilt.

I received mine and really like them. Thank you ladies! I am not sure if I will try the pattern katsdar so graciously included or if I will just sew them together. Either way they should whip up nicely.

I'm thinking of stretching out my blocks and putting in the solid block so that way I can have 2 "Man" quilts, thinking a dark burnt red and then a tan of some sort.

I'm putting another round on all of mine to make them bigger. It is also making them more uniform in size. I am adding a 6" square which I'm laying on the block and then trimming the block to fit. Also found some 4"blocks which were the waste from a disappearing nine patch I made years ago so I'm using those to make centres of blocks, pictures later!

That customs sticker is the new one no more small nice compact sticker. The process that takes place at the PO now is crazy just more work for the postmaster. I goofed and when I realized what I had done it was too late, well I could have cancelled and had them do it all over but it's all good, fenrosie actually got hers a few days ago and I did it the regular way.
