Block swap. We need no more.

Ginger, I am so happy that you now have the 12 people for this swap...I would have helped out but you know why I can't. Thanks so much for being a most awesome friend. <3

<-----------------------------Please pray for our baby girl as we are back in the Carilion Roanoke Hospital in the PICU tonight due to high fevers and low blood counts. Thanks a bunch from all of you.

Hugs and prayers coming your way....Hugs to your baby girl, when my granddaughter was at that point with kidney issues, we hung on and hugged...they had no answers as to why, but she pulled through...sending happy thoughts :) <3

Sending healing energy to your baby girl, you, & your family. Prayers for her health and for strength for you & yours through this hard time.

I talked to Acre's today and her DD is doing a little better. Her temp went down to 100.6. It was over 102.

I wanted to let you all know, paulsmuffen is done with her blocks.

I was joking then I ask her if she was done, she said yes she goes back to school next week and wanted to get them done.

I am very glad to hear Acres DD is improving. Let's pray that trend continues.
Congrats Paulsmuffen. That's fast sewing!

I realized yesterday that we have to record an album in February for the RPM Challenge.
The RPM Challenge asks musicians around the country to spend the month of February on original work. We have to have 10 original songs written, recorded & put onto CDs & in the mail by the last day of February. I have 3 songs written. (More than last year. Last year I had ONE song written, and the CD came out pretty well.)

Once I realized how SOON February is I realized I need to finish my blocks this week. I can knit my custom ordered items between takes, the sewing machine chugging along would definitely ruin mixing things down.

Ahhh, the sleepless stress of RPM looms, but it is my favorite way to spend February.

Last year's CD is available - if you want to listen* while you work on your blocks at:

* PLEASE do not pay for the CD if you check it out. Just listen & download & pass around. The other girl on the CD is in charge of the bandcamp account and has never paid me for any of the sales. (We don't make music together anymore, either.) But, it was fun & there's some pretty good stuff on there. The music is done "in the traditional style"- all acoustic & all recorded in one take.

Thanks, Granny.
We had a lot of fun making them.

And, X2 on the hatch update!
I am itching for a stretch of warm weather. Got the A-Okay from my honey to build my coop duplex this year and add some critters. I want 2 Silkie hens to brood for me, and 2 more laying hens. May keep a few ducklings, too - if I get any. I'd like to have a laying flock of ducks & a breeding trio also, by the end of 2013.
Going to finish cutting squares today & start sewing. I have Friday & Saturday off & can sew to my heart's content all weekend.

I got 19 fuzzy little butts from 22 eggs.....................I'm so impressed lol. They are Ameracaner and Maran and a Barred Crockel over RIR, NHR, Leghorn and some other muds. So It was just a test hatch...............

And by the way...............my bator is full again, this time with silkie eggs, they got shipped, so plaese cross you fingers for me.
