Hi everyone!
This morning while letting my chickens out and cleaning up their coop a bit I noticed something red in their poop from last night. It almost look like bloody snot (sorry for the gross details!) I did feed them a little bit of strawberry and tomato last night (some chick grit mixed it) and they were free ranging a lot yesterday. 3 are almost 9 weeks old and I believe 6 of them may be closer to about 7 weeks as they’re a bit smaller. I didn’t feed the medicated chick feed when they were younger. I was going to run to tractor supply to get corid to put in their water just in case. Should I be worried? I read about the intestinal lining shedding and that can look like blood. They are acting pretty normal. They’re digging around in their run, one is laying down but that’s something normal for her. Thanks!!!
