Hey y'all, so I've been getting some eggs from my pullets with some blood in them. I collect the eggs multiple times a day, so I know these are fresh eggs. See attached picture. Is this normal? What's wrong?

It happens commonly in new layers, how many have you gotten out of how many layers?
Ok good to know. These girls just started laying about 1-2 months ago. I've gotten about 8 bloody eggs all within the last two months. I'm thinking it could potentially be the same hen? I have about 20 laying hens

Possibly. Is your flock all one breed or assorted? If all the same breed, might be hard to ID the culprit. If you have different breeds, are the bloody eggs roughly the same size, shape, color?

I have a Buff Orp which had meat spots in probably over 90% of her eggs. As I could ID hers by appearance, I just made sure not to hard boil any of hers. It was harmless, just didn't look nice for dinner.
