Is that sac ok?

It looks to be exposed and hasn't had chance to absord it yet. Cover with moist towel and re apply periodically do not pull the egg away from the chick. Try get the egg over the sac to keep humity up, cross your fingers and hope for the best. Ours is still alive after nearly 12 hours and has managed to absorb itself. Not sure if still being alive is a good sign or a sign of slow death. First time here. Just going from what I've read and crossing fingers and hoping for the best.

That's some poop and the belly button. It'll dry up. It'll get its feet after a few hours. They are pretty pitiful when first hatched. I wouldn't worry too much at this point or really mess with it. I don't see yolk in the pic, just some flesh.

Oh I misunderstood and thought it'd been hatched a while. Give it time. They can be like that for a while after hatching. Check back in in a few hours.
